North Central Minor Hockey League Releases 2006-07 Hockey Schedule

The league executive consists of: President: Roger Bird; Vice-President: Robin McLeod 635-4606/2115;

The league executive has determined that in almost all cases – except for the Midget Male division, which has a couple of exceptions that will feature a few mid-week games – the league games will be hosted in turn by each team, with the teams playing several games, usually on weekends. The games will be played in a round-robin format each weekend, and the number of games will depend upon the number of teams in that division. Each host team is responsible for coordinating the game times, volunteers and officials for the games. The league executive will determine the playoff dates and playoff format for each of the six divisions.

The Female Division will play 21 league games; Novice Males, 18; Atom Males, 24; PeeWee Males, 28; Bantam Males, 24; Midget Males, 18.

The Female Hockey Division has 4 teams: JRMCC (La Ronge), Montreal Lake, Whitefish, and Stanley Mission. The La Ronge Team is required to identify a date to make up for a postponed league game originally scheduled for November 18/19.

The Atom Male division will have 4 teams: La Ronge – JRMCC, Stanley Mission, Montreal Lake, and Red Earth. Each team will play 3 games each day on the weekend.

The PeeWee Male division will have 5 teams: Montreal Lake, Stanley Mission, Black Lake, La Ronge – JRMCC, and Hatchet Lake. Each team will play 4 games each day on the weekend. If ice road conditions are open games may be played on February 17.

The Midget Male division will have 4 teams: Deschambault Lake, Stanley Mission, La Ronge, and Montreal Lake. Midget league games will be held 1 day on the weekends, hosted by each team. The games will be played in a round-robin format. Other games will be played during the week as scheduled. Each team will play 3 games each day on the weekend.
